I have a question.

Are you guys going to be selling off those badass Space Nazi costumes when you're done with them?

That's the plan.

1) Was the "Present" on Teaser 2 intentionally upside down?

2) Who are the Moon Nazi's fighting? Everybody who offers resistance including Germany or will some countries like Italy and Japan be offered a 2nd chance?

3) Will there be any battle scenes above or on the ground in Famous landmarks or cities on Earth?

4) Are any scenes spoofs or influenced by other major movies like independance day or Saving Private Ryan etc?

Yep. Why? I have no idea. Timo might know :D

You'll see...

3) Will there be any battle scenes above or on the ground in Famous landmarks or cities on Earth?

Isn't it mandatory in all invasion films? :)

4) Are any scenes spoofs or influenced by other major movies like independance day or Saving Private Ryan etc?

Some, yes. Independence Day is one of those films of our youth, so it'll most certainly end up referenced directly or indirectly...

Hi Jarmo, thanks for the replies. I still have more questions

1) I'm sure I read somewhere that the footage from the first teaser won't be included in the final movie. Will there be new footage showing the back story of the Nazi's landing on the Moon in 1945 or will the movie be entirely set in 2018?

2) Will Iron Sky have a "Wilhelm scream"? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdbYsoEasio

The film will be entirely set into year 1945.

To be honest, I didn't know about "Wilhelm Scream" until now, but after this, most definitively there will be :)

Did you mean 1945> onwards? Your English is 1000x better than my Finnish will ever be, but does this mean it will only be filmed in 2018? No flash-backs at the start of the movie?

I'm not a movie geek who always watches the extras on DVDs menus or knows a lot about movies but i thought a Wilhelm scream would suit Iron sky. I can easily imagine a Moon Nazi screaming like that and its as funny as it is gruesome. Maybe theres a small fee to use the copyrighted scream but a good comedy "wayaaaargh!" would be fun since its not exactly note-for-note music copyright infringement on a 2 second scream clip.

Another 2 questions...

1)How long do you think the Cinema edit of the movie will be? I realise its probably the most stupid question asked yet since you will end up with 2 or 3 hours of good footage to edit. I still think its a good question as you must be aiming at a time after doing basic storyboards.

2)Will we see the very sexy Mariel Mettälä on an Iron Sky Signal update soon or on the DVD? She is a great host for both.

I think Timo meant to say 2018...

We're aiming for about 100 minutes.

Probably not, at least in a while. Turns out it's surprisingly difficult to get timetables to match with a host who isn't part of the team.

rilly guys that wilhelm scream is so awfully tacky

Just be careful to use it where absolutely nothing else in the whole world could possibly fit....

I learned the hard way that one must never ever tell a Finn he can NOT do something....

Possibly maybe. It depends if we've got the time, it takes our CGI guys a day or so to put it together.

Dreaded Norwegian wrote:um, hi, im BRAND NEW here and got a few questions. 1, i LOVED the first footage trailer and was wondering, if and when wil the new trailer come out???

The trailer will come out at some point after the filming is done and we have enough CGI ready to make a cool trailer. So sometime next year.

question 2. how come that nasa or other earth space programmes have not discovered the nazi base when serveral missions have visited the dark side of the moon and many pictures have been taken of it???

Or maybe they have found them, but nobody believes them.... http://www.ironsky.net/thetruthtoday/ne ... -the-moon/

3. im saw lots of nazi ships in the trailer. but how man ships do they actually got??

A lot.

4. im living in a town with 21 000 residents. is thath enoungh to get iron sky in our local cinema??

We hope so! Make noise about Iron Sky in Norway and it'll be more likely to get a wide distribution!
