p.s. Turned on spamcop checks for registration/post. This will hopefully cut down on spam. However if it causes problems (ie. you real people don't get to post) please complain. Well, if that happens to someone it's hard to do that here so recommend email/IRC/twitter/blog.

I simply chose the old classic one that's quoted just about everywhere in the stargazers' studies.

Turns out I forgot the S class stars (O - B - A - F - G - K - M --- R - N - S)

I came across this on another form and thought if you were still having problems any with occasional spam it may be of use (or may be of use in the future). StopForumSpam.com automatted banning A phpbb3 mod that looks up this database http://www.stopforumspam.com/. It may be good for catching manual spammers (and catchpas beakers) as buy the time they have got around to this forum they would have hit a number of others and would be on the list.

Well, it's pretty obvious that somebody needs to rig a "flytrap" topic to catch the spammers.

This specific topic has drawn a LOT of flies in the past several weeks because of its position
as a sticky, or because it's otherwise at the top of the topic/forum-queue.

I think there's a really bad pun in here someplace, but it's after midnight local time, and I'm
too bummed to drag it out of hiding.
